The Bastion Americana Freedom Journal

The Bastion Americana Freedom Journal is a weapon of psychological warfare introduced by the Abwehr in late 1943 for the express purpose of chiseling away at the American populace’s will to continue the War in Europe. Through misinformation and propaganda, the Journal professes American greatness while encouraging isolationism, xenophobia, racism, eugenics, Christian nationalism, misogyny, and worse.

The Journal’s debut issue blew the Office for the Cataloguing of Unusual Occurrences’ cover, revealing them to the world and blaming them for the horrific events that took place in Naples in July, 1943. The abrupt unmasking revealed the Office as a secret network operating outside and above American oversight, cementing distrust even as officials fought and died trying to stop the foul works of traitors and Nazis.

It only took a few weeks for the Journal’s claims to go mainstream, leading to the formation of the Garrisonian Party. With actual public backing, the truth of the Journal’s origins were buried even deeper, and their misdirections took center stage.

The tide is turning, with the current pulling harder at the Office’s heels with every weekly publication. But silencing them would only make their position stronger and incense the lies they’ve planted in American minds.

The officials are cornered. The questions the Journal raises are sensational, pointed, and poisonous. Their answers are absurd and the lies are easier to swallow than the truth. Judgements have already been made. All they can do is react, for the snake grows a new head with every repeated falsehood and whispered rumor.

How can they stop an idea?
